When a situation or circumstance is out of your control, it is challenging to maintain presence and calm. It is uncomfortable feeling like you have no control.
Instead of blaming others which only creates more suffering, ask yourself
“Where am I responsible for this outcome/situation?”
Bring the power back to yourself.
"What can I control?"
"How can I create control here?"
Usually it is just a mental adjustment, a new perspective, that is needed to bring the presence and calm required to overcome the situation.
Thus bringing responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and actions.
Level up - Reflect:
Where did this trigger come from?
What belief am I harbouring that needs challenging?
What do I need to process here?
Self-Awareness is just this: Being aware of yourself in the moment and then reflecting to support desired changes.
